Meet Dave’s Dogs

People often ask what kinds of dogs professional trainers keep at home. Here are the three dogs that share life (and work) with our owner and head trainer, Dave Wilbert.

Nova: The Original Business Partner

Nova, a Belgian Malinois, joined Dave as a roughly six-month-old pup and has been by his side ever since. She helped build this business, and plenty of Central New Yorkers know her from demos, the State Fair and community events, where her trademark move is launching herself off the nearest wall.

Storm: The Family Lab

Storm is a black lab who has fully earned the easy life. His favorite things: swimming, fetch, back scratches, and keeping watch over the neighborhood from the bay window.

Cayenne: The Rising Star

Cayenne is the youngest of the crew, another Belgian Malinois, and she’s taken over much of the demo work from Nova. She has huge drive and a big heart, and she will chase a frisbee straight into a wall if she has to. Sweet, goofy and all business when it counts.
