Day Training is the program Central New York families choose most often, and it’s easy to see why. A professional trainer does the heavy lifting of teaching your dog, but your dog still sleeps at home in their own bed every night.
A Typical Day Training Day
- Morning drop-off at our Cicero training center on Frontage Road.
- Hands-on training all day. Your trainer works your dog in our building, then takes the lessons on the road to parks, pet-friendly stores and busy sidewalks, where distractions are real.
- Videos to your phone so you can watch the progress as it happens.
- Afternoon pick-up and handoff. Your trainer walks you through what your dog learned and gives you a short, specific homework plan for the week.
- Repeat weekly. You reinforce at home, then your dog comes back for the next training day, building skill on skill.
Great For
- Working families who want professional results without an overnight stay
- Leash pulling, jumping, door dashing, poor recall and barking
- Dogs that need practice around other dogs and public distractions
- Owners who want to be involved without having to do all the teaching themselves
Support for Your Dog’s Whole Life
Day Training includes lifetime support. Whenever you need it, for a refresher, a new problem, or a move to a new home, you can come back for private lessons and group classes for the rest of your dog’s life.
Dogs are usually ready for Day Training at about 16 weeks old. Younger pups begin with one-on-one puppy lessons.
